1968 Mooney A2A Cadet

TCMG uses a 1968 Mooney A2A Cadet in the pilot rating course for Private, Commercial, and Flight Instructor. 

Mooney acquired the Alon Aircoupe design with the intention of creating a two place trainer. The A2A eventually became the Mooney M-10.

The Airoupe has modern avionics consisting of an iFly 740B GPS, ICOM Transceiver, and Stratus ESGi ADSB out/in.

Removing the older style equipment has brought empty weight down to 952 LBS resulting in a very nimble airplane that is easy to fly.

At 2300 RPM is cruises at 110 MPH burning 5 GPH with an endurance to 4.5 hrs.
